Clear Answers to Help You Begin and Manage Your Care With Confidence

Welcome. Sprout Anew Mental Health Services LLC provides compassionate psychiatric care through secure telehealth and, when available, in-person appointments. The answers below explain our services, scheduling process, insurance, privacy, prescriptions, and crisis limitations.

Getting Started

Select the “Become a New Patient” or “Request an Appointment” option on our website, call the office, or send a secure
message. You will be asked for basic contact information, the service you are seeking, your preferred appointment
format, and insurance or self-pay information. Our team will review your request and contact you with the next steps.

A member of our team will review your request for service eligibility, clinician availability, patient location, age range,
clinical appropriateness, and insurance requirements. You may then receive a secure portal invitation, intake forms,
insurance-verification instructions, and available appointment options. Submitting a request does not guarantee an
appointment or establish a provider-patient relationship.

Appointment timing depends on clinician availability, the requested service, insurance verification, completion of
required forms, and clinical urgency. We strive to respond promptly and will offer the earliest appropriate appointment
available. Emergency or same-day crisis services are not provided through routine appointment requests.

Please prepare a government-issued photo ID, insurance card, preferred pharmacy information, current medication list
with dosages, allergy information, relevant medical or psychiatric records, and the names of your current healthcare
providers. You may also wish to prepare a list of symptoms, concerns, treatment goals, and questions for the clinician.

Services and Treatment

Services may include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up psychiatric care, ADHD assessment and treatment, treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, mood disorders, and substance-use concerns. Specialized services, including Spravato® evaluation or support groups, may be offered when clinically appropriate and available.
Our clinicians may evaluate and treat a range of outpatient behavioral health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, trauma- and stress-related conditions, mood disorders, sleep-related concerns, and selected substance-use conditions. Treatment is based on an individualized
ADHD evaluation and treatment may be available for clinically appropriate patients. The process can include a detailed history, symptom screening, review of prior records, consideration of medical or behavioral factors, and, when indicated, additional testing or collateral information. A request for ADHD treatment does not guarantee a diagnosis or a particular medication.
Treatment may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, patient and family education, care coordination, supportive interventions, and referrals for psychotherapy, laboratory testing, or specialty services. Recommendations are individualized and may change as the clinician learns more about your needs and response to treatment.

Telehealth and Service Area

Yes. Secure telepsychiatry appointments may be available when clinically appropriate. At each visit, the patient must be physically located in a jurisdiction where the treating clinician is licensed and authorized to provide care. Identity and physical location may be confirmed at the beginning of the appointment.
Virtual care may be available to eligible patients located in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, subject to clinician licensure, service availability, insurance rules, and clinical appropriateness. The patient’s physical location at the time of the appointment determines whether the clinician may legally provide the visit.
Sprout Anew intends to serve eligible patients in Prince William County and nearby Northern Virginia communities, including Gainesville, Haymarket, Manassas, and surrounding areas. Telehealth may expand access for eligible patients elsewhere in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Availability should be confirmed when requesting an appointment.
Use a private, quiet, and well-lit location with a reliable internet connection. Confirm that your camera, microphone, speakers, and supported browser are working. Keep your phone nearby in case the video connection fails. Do not join an appointment while driving or operating machinery.

Insurance, Privacy, and Family Participation

Sprout Anew may participate with selected insurance plans. Please use the insurance-eligibility link or contact the office before scheduling. Insurance verification is not a guarantee of payment. Patients remain responsible for deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, noncovered services, and any amount assigned by the health plan.
We are committed to protecting patient information and use secure systems and reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Telehealth visits should be attended from a private location. Confidentiality is subject to legal and safety exceptions, including circumstances involving imminent risk, suspected abuse or neglect, or other disclosures required or permitted by law.
Yes, when clinically appropriate and authorized by the patient or legally required. Parents or legal guardians may need to participate in care for minors. The clinician may also ask to speak privately with the patient for part of the appointment. Participation and access to information are governed by consent, privacy laws, and clinical judgment.

Prescriptions, Refills, and Ongoing Care

Prescriptions are issued only after an appropriate clinical evaluation and when the clinician determines that medication is safe, indicated, and legally permitted. Requesting a specific medication does not guarantee that it will be prescribed. Some medications require medical records, laboratory testing, monitoring, treatment agreements, or an in-person assessment.
Submit routine refill requests through the secure patient portal before your medication runs out. Include the medication name, dosage, remaining supply, and preferred pharmacy. Refills may require a follow-up appointment, updated monitoring, or other clinical information.
Controlled-substance prescribing is subject to federal and state law, clinician judgment, patient location, monitoring requirements, and practice policy. Additional documentation, prescription-monitoring review, laboratory testing, treatment agreements, or periodic in-person visits may be required. No controlled medication is guaranteed.

Emergencies and Communication

Sprout Anew is not an emergency or crisis-response service. Do not use the website, patient portal, voicemail, or routine messaging for emergencies because these channels are not monitored continuously. If you or another person may be in
immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, call or text 988 for the
Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Routine messages are reviewed during normal business hours. Please allow approximately two business days unless the
practice communicates a different timeframe. Messages received after hours, on weekends, or on holidays may not be
reviewed until the next business day. Urgent or emergency concerns should not be sent through the portal.
